Despite my hard work and excellent reviews, I was not progressing in my career. Jane helped me through this by using relevant assessment tools — including a mini version of the 360 degree feedback tool. She not only gave me insights on how colleagues viewed me but also how I could proactively shape how others perceived me. Not unusual for an Asian American, I was raised to be quiet and modest with the expectation that good and hard work would suffice — obviously it wasn’t enough. Jane gave practical, tactical advice so I could better manage elements of my cultural upbringing and progress with my career.
